I’m putting up this post today for my mom who is en route to Chicago! So I wanted to take a second to tell you guys that today is my mom’s birthday!! Happy Birthday Madre! Thanks for always being there for me and for being the person I can call at any time of day to just chat, to question on medicine or how to treat a cold, to ask recipe questions or to get life advice. I love and appreciate you more than you know!!
Craig made this for dinner the other night and it was great. When we sat down to dinner Andrew said he wouldn’t be having any because he doesn’t eat fish. We convinced him to give it a try and he loved it! So now he can say he doesn’t eat any fish except tuna.
Craig modified an epicurious recipe a bit. He used only half the olive oil the recipe called for and he tripled the amount of mustard. We didn’t have the peppers the recipe called for, so used red bell peppers. I would really recommend the red peppers, the taste was great and they looked so pretty on the plate? The capers and mustard are what really make the sauce exceptional, try making extra sauce, it would be great over oven roasted potatoes.
If you have friends or family members who don’t generally like seafood (or think they don’t like seafood), this could be the recipe that changes their mind!
