Thanksgiving Day in Pictures

Hello, hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving!

This morning I got in a quick workout before heading to the Detroit Parade because I knew I wouldn’t have any other time today.

I know that you guys would have been disappointed if I didn’t post a post-workout pic and I just hate to disappoint.   Especially on Thanksgiving.

We stayed at the parade for a little over an hour but I was way too cold to be able to stay any longer.  I’m fairly confident I was getting frost bite towards the end.  I thought it was going to be about 15 degrees warmer than it was so I was not dressed warmly enough at all.

We headed home to work on getting all the food together before everyone came over around 3:30.  My only problem was that I ate a lot here and there while we were cooking, so I wasn’t even really hungry by the time dinner came around.  I still ate a full plate, but I don’t feel like I really went all out.    We have a lot of leftovers, so if you have any leftover recipe suggestions, please send them our way!

Anyways, on to the pictures:

Wet hair is a good idea when it is 30 something degrees, right??

We aren’t sure who Eddie is or why he is getting arrested….

Can you tell that I did not want to stop for that picture at all?  I just wanted to get inside at that point.

My cousin’s baby William, isn’t he the cutest??…

Anddd, the William he was named after!

And finally, the kitchen before:

OK you caught me, the second counter isn’t the same as the first and third pics, but I swear the kitchen was clean for a short period of time.

All in all, it was a great Thanksgiving!  I am very thankful for my family, my friends, my health and for all of you!! :)

How was everyone else’s Thanksgiving?   Anything in particular you are thankful for?

Is anyone going shopping for black Friday?  I think my mom and I are going to go shopping…but not until the afternoon.  Hopefully we will have missed the main craziness by then.
